Tyson and I drove down to Oologah, OK Thursday (it's about 45 miles north of Tulsa). Lindy, one of my closest friends and her husband Curtis have lived there for several years now. They have a little Chihuahua named Foley. I was a little weary of how Tyson would do with the dog, but they got along great! I think Tyson liked being bigger than the dog for once (my parents have a boxer). Friday morning we went to the zoo and then in the afternoon we headed out to Lindy's parents house. They moved to OK a few years after Lindy did. They live on about 7 acres and have a pond with ducks and fish, an above the ground pool and plenty of room for Tyson to run! He warmed up to her parents pretty quick and even gave them hugs before we left! We went back out to their house Saturday afternoon and hung out in the pool for a while! Tyson loved being in the water! We picked some veggies from their garden and fed the ducks again before leaving. It was a really fun weekend and I'm glad we're only 3 hours from them! Tyson did pretty good in the car. On the way down he slept the second half of the 3 hour drive and on the way back up today he didn't sleep at all!

He was as happy as a pig in mud playing with the water and not getting in trouble for doing so!
Tyson really warmed up to Lindy's dad! They took a stroll around the pond with Foley and looked at the ducks!
Tyson enjoyed feeding the ducks! There were also some freakishly large catfish in the pond that ate the bread that the ducks left behind.
