Ready for a swim!

We had Tyson's hair cut again the other day and at the end of the cut the girl let him choose his own pair of goggles!! He's pretty stylin' and ready for whatever the 8 inches of water brings his way!

Daddy's Home!!

Derick is here for 14 days leave before returning to Mississippi to catch a flight to Kuwait. He will be here until July 7th. Tyson's reaction to Derick coming home was priceless! He ran up to him and threw himself in Derick's arms! Derick can't leave a room without Tyson following him or saying "Where Daddy going??" or "I be right back, I go with Daddy!" It's very cute. We spent this first weekend up in Derick's hometown hanging out with some of my college friends and a couple of Derick's high school friends! We let Tyson run on the farm, played in the pool and of course had a tractor ride! This next week we are going to just hang out and relax! Thursday Derick and I are going to a KC Royals game with my sister's and then over the 4th we'll be back up at the farm hanging out with Derick's family!

Summer Fun!

I decided to get Tyson a little pool! It's not summer without one, right? He loved it! The water was very cold as right after we filled it he wanted to swim! He played in it for about 2 hours before I made him come in. Needless to say he was not happy when that time came!
Thirsty Boys!

Gettin' the fish out of the net!

Tyson told me that he's "Taking a water bath!"

They sure love to drink the water outside! Wish I could get Tyson to drink water from a cup!

Just a few more of Thomas...

The whistle was loud!

More Thomas pictures

There was a little area with different animals that you could feed...
This is on the train, not much holding us in.

Me and T with Grandma and Grandpa Peters.

Feeding goats with Grandpa John

Tyson and Grandma Kathy playing in the sand!

A Day with Thomas the Tank Engine

As you can see in these two pictures (above and below) Tyson wanted nothing to do with me for a photo op with Thomas...

Well the day finally came...we got to go see Thomas!!! Grandpa and Grandma Peters, Grandpa and Grandma Seberger, Me and Tyson had a super fun day hanging out! We took a 25 minute train ride. I knew it was either going to be a hit or a miss with Tyson and the ride was a hit! He loved it! We sat in an open air car meaning there was basically a wooden fence holding us in and a roof over our head. It was great! The whistle was a little loud for all, but we survived! There were several different activities other than just riding Thomas. The only way the day would have been better is if Daddy was able to be here. We will be taking him next year for sure!
